1. Service Description

TribunalBot is an automated document preparation service. It generates Tenancy Tribunal Evidence Packs by processing documents you upload (bank statements, communications, tenancy agreements, notices, and photos) and applying AI analysis.

TribunalBot is NOT a law firm, does NOT provide legal advice, and is NOT a substitute for qualified legal counsel. The output is an administrative document preparation tool only.

2. No Legal Advice

This is a document preparation service, not legal advice. You are responsible for reviewing and submitting the final output. TribunalBot does not provide tailored legal advice. Consult a qualified legal professional for specific legal questions.

You acknowledge that:

• The Evidence Pack is a starting point, not a finished legal submission.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and submitting any documents to the Tenancy Tribunal.
• AI-generated analysis may contain errors or omissions.
• Legislative references are informational and may not reflect the most current law.
• TribunalBot does not guarantee any outcome at the Tenancy Tribunal.

3. Your Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and truthful information about your tenancy situation.
• You must have the legal right to upload all documents you provide.
• You must not upload documents containing information about third parties without their consent, except as reasonably necessary for your tenancy dispute.
• You must review the generated Evidence Pack before submitting it to the Tribunal.
• You must not use TribunalBot for fraudulent, vexatious, or abusive purposes.

4. Payment and Refunds

• Each Evidence Pack is a one-time purchase at the price displayed at checkout.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable.
• Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if the Evidence Pack has a material defect (e.g., fails to generate, contains completely unrelated content). Contact help@support.tribunalbot.co.nz for refund requests.
• Refunds are not available for dissatisfaction with Tribunal outcomes, or because the Evidence Pack did not contain the analysis you expected.

5. Intellectual Property

The generated Evidence Pack is yours to use for your Tenancy Tribunal proceedings. TribunalBot, its branding, design, and underlying technology remain the property of Telepathy.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law:

• TribunalBot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• Telepathy is not liable for any loss, damage, or adverse outcome arising from your use of the Evidence Pack, including but not limited to unfavourable Tribunal decisions.
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Evidence Pack.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable.

7. Privacy

Your use of TribunalBot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate access to TribunalBot at our discretion, including for abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of TribunalBot after changes constitutes acceptance.
